Support through pregnancy, birth, and what comes after.
Pregnancy, birth, and the experiences that follow can bring profound emotional and psychological change. This is a space to make sense of what you are experiencing with care that is thoughtful, evidence-informed, and responsive to you.
This season can hold more than one truth.
You can have wanted this deeply and still feel anxious, overwhelmed, or uncertain. You can feel hopeful about the future while also grieving parts of your life, your identity, or the sense of certainty you once knew.
Pregnancy and birth can also bring unexpected or painful experiences, including complications, difficult births, or loss, that reshape what this season looks and feels like.
There is no single way to experience pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or loss. Psychological care creates space for the full range of those experiences, without judgment, expectations, or pressure to feel a certain way.
Anxiety, Worry & Hypervigilance
Persistent worry, difficulty relaxing, intrusive fears, or feeling constantly alert to what might go wrong.
Depression & Feeling Unlike Yourself
Low mood, disconnection, loss of interest, guilt, or struggling to recognize yourself in this new season.
Birth Trauma & Difficult Birth Experiences
Processing a frightening, unexpected, medically complicated, or emotionally difficult pregnancy or birth experience.
Identity & Relationship Changes
Navigating shifts in identity, partnership, intimacy, family roles, and your sense of who you are.
Emotional Exhaustion & Overwhelm
Feeling depleted, irritable, touched out, emotionally stretched, or unable to find space for yourself.
Pregnancy Loss, Grief & Complicated Transitions
Support following miscarriage, stillbirth, intrapartum loss, and other experiences of pregnancy or birth shaped by grief.
Making room for the experience you're actually having.
Motherhood is often surrounded by expectations about joy, bonding, gratitude, and what it means to be a “good” mother. When your experience does not match those expectations, it can be difficult to speak honestly about what you are feeling.
Therapy offers a private space where conflicting emotions can coexist, with room for love and frustration, gratitude and grief, connection and disconnection, confidence and uncertainty. There is no expectation to appear okay, minimize what feels difficult, or explain away what you are experiencing.
Your experience comes first
Care begins with understanding what pregnancy, birth, or motherhood has been like for you, not what the experience is supposed to look like.
Evidence-informed and emotionally attuned
Therapy draws from established psychological approaches while remaining responsive to your emotional needs, circumstances, relationships, and pace.
The whole person matters
Motherhood is one part of who you are. Care makes room for your identity, relationships, culture, history, values, and the life you are navigating beyond the parenting role.
Greater emotional steadiness
Developing ways to navigate anxiety, overwhelm, sadness, anger, and other difficult emotions with greater confidence and support.
Trusting yourself more
Building confidence in your own judgment and making space for your experience to unfold in a way that feels authentic to you.
Processing difficult experiences
Making sense of birth trauma, loss, unexpected experiences, or transitions that continue to carry emotional weight.
Feeling more like yourself
Finding ways to reconnect with your identity, relationships, needs, and sense of self as life changes.
