These terms describe use of the Bahali Psychology website and its administrative scheduling tools. Clinical informed consent, financial agreements and treatment policies are provided separately by the practice.
Information, not individualized care
Website articles and service descriptions are general educational information. They are not a diagnosis, clinical evaluation, treatment recommendation or substitute for care from a qualified professional. Outcomes are not guaranteed.
Consultations and appointments
The initial 15-minute consultation considers whether there appears to be a reasonable fit to proceed. It is not a clinical evaluation or acceptance into treatment. The practice may use administrative review when a consultation is unnecessary. A 90-minute Intake Evaluation requires an invitation and is the clinical evaluation where treatment appropriateness and care planning are considered.
Psychological assessments require practice review of scope, sequence and fees before scheduling. Established patients receive recurring appointments or specifically permitted follow-up access; they do not have unrestricted access to every opening. Follow-up and booster/return appointments are 60 minutes. Availability alone does not determine eligibility.
Location
Bahali Psychology offers telehealth for patients located in New York. Tell the practice if you will be outside New York at the time of an appointment so it can determine whether the appointment may proceed.
Fees and changes
The practice is self-pay and does not accept or bill insurance directly. Service fees and financial terms are communicated before paid clinical scheduling is authorized. A superbill may support a request for possible out-of-network reimbursement, which is not guaranteed. Your appointment-specific cancellation, rescheduling and payment terms will be provided separately; this website does not create an undisclosed cancellation fee.
Responsible use
Provide accurate contact details. Keep invitation and appointment-management access private. Do not impersonate another person, attempt to bypass scheduling permissions, interfere with the site or submit sensitive clinical records through public forms.
Urgent concerns
The website, contact forms and scheduling system are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored. For an immediate emergency in the United States, call 911. For suicide or mental health crisis support, call or text 988.
Questions and availability
The website may be unavailable during maintenance or technical interruptions. If you cannot access an appointment tool, contact the practice. A request is not a confirmed appointment until confirmation is provided.
